Barbarian players aren't struggling either. Hammer of the Ancients is still landing huge bursts and has enough upside to reach around Pit 116 with the right gear. It's the kind of build that rewards commitment. When your crits line up, bosses just melt. Sorcerer feels smoother than its ranking might suggest. Crackling Energy, sitting near Pit 112, has a really clean loop built around Ball Lightning and orb generation, so movement and damage flow together nicely. Rogue is the awkward one. Shadow Clone Combo can absolutely delete targets, but it often feels like work. Cooldowns need to line up, inputs have to stay tight, and for farming, that gets old fast. Some players love that kind of pressure. A lot don't.

Choosing what actually fits your season

Most players aren't picking a build just because a leaderboard says it's number one. They want something that feels good after hours of runs. That's why Necro still has a place, why Druid keeps winning over newer players, and why Barb fans aren't dropping their class. Still, if the goal is pure power and the highest possible ceiling, Paladin is the safest bet in the current meta.
