Guys, the core Shopping Week phase of MLBB’s July Mega Sale is finally right around the corner. To be honest, this time of year always leaves us light-spending players equal parts torn and hyped.

July 20 marks the final day to collect Promo Diamonds! Per official rules, you earn 20 Promo Diamonds daily just by logging in, 15 more for completing two matches, and another 20 for either teaming up with friends or making a top-up of any amount — capping out at 55 per day. Since the event kicked off on July 3, if you’ve been grinding consistently, you should have racked up around 800 to 900 Promo Diamonds by now.

The event requires you to have regular Diamonds in your account to complete the final checkout, so I’d highly recommend stocking up ahead of time. No matter how many Promo Diamonds you have, the system mandates a minimum of 1 regular Diamond per order. What does this mean? It means as long as you’ve stocked up enough Promo Diamonds, Basic Skins, Elite Skins, and even select regular Epic Skins are essentially free.

Don’t get too carried away though. Collector Bundles still carry a minimum regular Diamond cost ranging from 50 to 500. So my advice is to stop fixating on the priciest options. Instead, shift your focus to regular Epic Skins you’ve been hesitant to buy at full price — that’s the best value and biggest steal of this entire event.

Based on my experience from past Mega Sale events, don’t rush to check out on day one. The very first thing to do when you log in on the 21st is open the Promo Carnival Chest — with a bit of luck, you can score an extra 1111 Promo Diamonds. It’s essentially a lucky draw, so you should map out your full spending plan only after claiming its rewards. If your Promo Diamond balance still isn’t enough to cover everything on your wishlist after opening the chest, you’ll need to make trade-offs and prioritize.

Second, always prioritize permanent skins above all else. Skins are permanent unlocks you use in every match, and they make the most noticeable difference to a hero’s gameplay feel. My personal rule of thumb is to first pick up non-collaboration Epic Skins for your most-played heroes that have the steepest discounts in the shop, as these offer the absolute best value for money by far.
